Farm to Fork encourages children to eat more fruits and vegetables by engaging them in gardening activities that help to increase their knowledge and awareness of food growing and healthy eating.
Groundwork West Midlands received funding from the BIG Lottery Fund to deliver the Farm to Fork project in Wolverhampton. The project was funded for a three year period until November 2010.
Although the funding ended, Sheepwash Farm (a partner in the project) were eager to continue the great partnership work with Groundwork, so they spoke to their various partners and attended meetings to highlight the benefits of the project and the farm trips attended by schools.
